The Four Immeasurables with Ven. Lobsang Tenpa

March 24 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

To help us live a peaceful and happy life, the Buddha recommended that we practice recognizing and cultivating the natural resources in our own hearts. This workshop will explore how meditation can help us incline our minds towards goodwill, compassion, appreciative joy and equanimity, the Four Immeasurables.

They are called ‘immeasurable’, because if you practice them, they will grow in you every day until they embrace the whole world. You will become happier, and everyone around you will become happier too. Thich Nhat Hanh, Teachings on Love

Ven. Lobsang Tenpa was born in Siberia in 1988, and earned his BA and MA in South Asian Studies in Moscow. Over the years, he has provided simultaneous and consecutive translation for many Tibetan and Western Buddhist teachers, including Lama Zopa Rinpoche, Khandro-la and Dagri Rinpoche. Ordained as a monk by Ganden Tripa Lobsang Tenzin, he is currently enrolled in a four year Buddhist Studies program at the University of Kathmandu in Nepal.

We ask for a donation of 750 rupees for this course to help us cover our costs.
