PEACEFUL LIVING, PEACEFUL DYING will explore the qualities needed to live and die peacefully: loving kindness, compassion and wisdom.
When we meditate and think about death, our understanding about the preciousness of life becomes clearer and sharper. We have more energy for life and for helping others.
This retreat will explore the teachings of Tibetan Buddhism with an explanation of basic Buddhist philosophy, principles, practice and meditation instruction. Teachings will be alternated with guided meditation, discussion group and hatha yoga.
Our venue, Chandra Ban Resort, is located outside the hustle of Kathmandu in a beautiful, peaceful environment on the edge of the Shivapuri Forest. Enjoy the beauty of the Shivapuri forest on one of the many walking trails. Relax in the garden and enjoy delicious, healthy meals prepared for you with thought and care.
